Simple money-saving tips: save on energy by using as little water as possible when cooking frozen or fresh vegetables. Most can be cooked in no more than a 1/4 cup of water. // you'll save 3 to 5 gallons of water a day if everyone in the family turns off the bathroom faucet while brushing their teeth. // to avoid a flashlight switch being inadvertently turned on and the batteries drained, store the flashlight with the top battery turned around so it can't make contact. When ready to use, just turn the battery right side up.
